Paradise Coast Pickleball Club is a new private social club for pickleball players who are 30 and up, launching in Naples for the 2026-27 season. Here is why it exists and what it is not.

Why 30 and up

## Because the game is easy to find and the company is not

Naples has more public pickleball courts than almost anywhere. What it does not hand you is a group at your level, a morning that is expecting you, and the people you will still be playing with in March. That is the part a club can organise.

We say 30 and up because that is the membership rule of a private social club, and because it describes the members: adults fitting the game around work, family or retirement, with a game they care about and no interest in being talked down to. No stereotypes, no assumptions about what anyone can do. Every level from 2.0 to 4.0.

### The founding story, so far

This is a launch story, not a history. The founding members, a handful of Naples players who kept solving the same coordination problem for their friends, decided to solve it once, for a club. Founding membership at $99 per year pays for the organising: the levels, the calendar, the hosts, the socials.

The first thing the founding members did was ask a local business to believe in the idea. [Wimmer Regenerative Orthopedics](/thank-you) said yes, and that is why a brand-new club can show up with a real plan in its first season.

One price, one rule, and a plan we call a plan. When something is being confirmed, it says so beside the benefit.

You know the level, the time and who is hosting before you leave the house.

The members directory is opt-in. You decide what to share and whether to be listed at all.

### What the values look like on a Tuesday morning

**Welcome** is the host learning your name before your first game and saying it out loud when they pair you. It is a beginner session that assumes nothing, and a 4.0 session that does not need to. **Plain words** is this website: one price, one rule, and the phrase "being confirmed" wherever that is the truth, beside the benefit rather than in a footer.

**Respectful play** is calling your own lines, saying the score before every serve, and tapping paddles at the net when the game is over, whichever way it went. **Clear expectations** is knowing the level, the courts, the start time and the host's name before you leave the house, from an email that arrived days earlier.

**Your choice about sharing** is a members directory that lists nobody who has not chosen to be listed, and a club that never hands a sponsor a name. **Good company** is the coffee afterwards, and the fact that in March you will still be playing with the people you met in November.

The Naples scene

## Pickleball country

[East Naples Community Park](/courts/east-naples-community-park) has hosted the US Open Pickleball Championships since 2016 and has 65 courts. [Veterans Community Park](/courts/veterans-community-park) has 14 pickleball courts, 6 of them lighted. [Fleischmann Park](/courts/fleischmann-park) was, by local accounts, the first Collier County park to offer pickleball, back in 2011. [Every Paradise Coast court](/courts) is in our court guide. The county's median age at the 2020 census was 52.9. In 2025, 24.3 million Americans played the game, according to the SFIA.

Put those together and you get the reason this club exists here and not somewhere else. Our launch-season plan starts at public courts like these; the club has no arrangement with any park and claims none.

## What the club is not

- Not a facility. We own no courts and reserve none. Our launch plan meets at public courts, where any fee is paid to the park.

- Not a league operator. No ladders, no standings, no sanctioned play. Round-robins are for meeting people.

- Not a medical provider. Our sponsor is an orthopedic practice; this site makes no medical claims and gives no medical advice.

- Not run by the sponsor. The club is independent. The sponsor does not decide who joins and never sees member information.

Paradise Coast Pickleball Club is the working name while the club launches. If it changes, everything on this site and every membership carry over unchanged.

## Questions about the club

**Q. Is the club a business or a non-profit?**

The club is a private social club run by its founding members. Its legal form is being settled as part of the launch, and it will be stated on this page and in the membership terms before the checkout opens. Membership pays for organising, not for a facility.

**Q. Who decides how the club is run?**

The founding members, in plain conversation with the members. The sponsor has no say in who joins, how sessions run or what the club says. If the club grows, the plan is a small committee of members chosen by the members.

**Q. Why not just play at the public courts for free?**

You can, and many members will keep doing exactly that. What the club adds is the organising: a session at your level, a time that is expecting you, a host who pairs and rotates, and the socials where the people become friends. If that is not worth $99 per year to you, the courts are still there.

**Q. Will the club ever have its own courts?**

There is no plan for that. The club is a social club, not a facility, and Naples already has more public courts than almost anywhere. If that ever changes, members hear first and the plan is published here.
